Dear Family & Friends, As Garrison Keeler would say "It's been a quiet day in Lake Wobegon..." Finished a few last trimmings to the "huisje", like hanging a lamp, adding rollers to Margreets chair, and placing 2 more hand grips on the wall. Then we watched TV and I took a siesta. I cooked, so we got pizza :) The grownup kids and the children were out at a birthday party for a neighbors kid, so it was nice and quiet. We finally figured out how to add an analog telephone to Douwe's digital phone network so now we have our own phone number 035 577 1306 (or for you alien folk, 031 35 577 1306) We have one more week of radiation therapy, then we wait. Kinda weird, huh? No, I think we'll just try go get into a rhythm, as much as possible, so we can enjoy whatever life is sending us. Margreet will be getting physiotherapy and ergo therapy, so she can recover as much of her physical abilities as possible and so that her surroundings are as accommodation to her limitations as possible. We had our first snow last night and Arianna enjoyed strolling through the leaves and small layer of snow on the ground in our morning forest walk. This is it for now. We are going out to walk Jenny (our dog) A bit cold out there, but it will be good before we go to sleep. C-ya! Peace. Bob
