Dear Family & Friends, "All's quiet in the western front"... actually, life is beginning to be enjoyable again. A bit more 'rustig' (quiet, calm). Margreet has had her last radiation therapy. It is now a time of letting go and let the thing do the work. The radiation and the angels (and the prayers, visualizations, energy directing and all those things you folks have been doing). The doctor warned us that during the next 2 weeks she may experience deep fatigue and exhaustion, as well as other negative effects from the therapy. So far she's not been too tired, only after some activity she needs to rest for a while, but she's already contributing to the workings of the family as much as she can with one arm unwilling to cooperate. Meanwhile, her hair has begun to fall out. She says she doesn't mind it. Rather be bald than nauseous. This week she planning a trip to Hilversum with two of her dear girlfriends to look for some head gear. (one of them said something that sounded like "drie slits zoeken een moet", does that sound like anything to you?... Hey! I'm just the scribe here.) Tomorrow she'll begin her physiotherapy. She wants to regain the use of her arm and be able to walk by herself. It's extremely frustrating for her not being able to go an comfort a crying baby or play with Arianna so that Mom can do her work around the house. I have my fingers crossed for her to succeed. Meanwhile, here's a photo of oma and Ryan. Love. Bob
